Defectbird is operated by Ellul Solutions Ltd. This page explains what happens to information submitted on this site.

What we collect and why

What you type into a worksheet stays on the page unless you save it to an account. If you enquire or subscribe we collect your name, email, shop name and what you wrote, and nothing else. An inspection record holds vehicles, findings, photos and the technician who signed, which are your shop's records, not ours.

Legal basis and sharing

We are the vendor: you buy from us and your data stays with us and our processors (hosting, payments, email). We do not sell it, rent it or pass it to repair shops, parts suppliers, warranty companies or lead buyers of any kind.

Retention

Enquiry records are kept for 24 months, then deleted. Aggregate statistics that identify nobody are kept indefinitely.

This site uses cookieless, aggregate analytics. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no consent banner needed.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask for deletion at any time: hello@defectbird.com. We respond within one month.
